What's My Age Again – Privacy Policy
Effective October 26, 2026
What's My Age Again is made by Josh Holtz. This policy explains what the app collects and why.
What stays on your device
The people you add — names, birthdays, relationship labels, and groups — are stored only on your device, in the app and its widgets. If you use Import from Contacts, the names and birthdays you pick are copied into the app on your device. None of this is sent to me or anyone else.
Usage analytics
To learn which features people use, the app sends anonymous usage events to Mostly Good Metrics, an analytics service. These events include:
- What you did in the app, such as opening it, choosing a theme, or adding a widget
- A random ID created by the app on your device (not your name, email, or Apple ID)
- Your country, worked out from your IP address
- Your device model, iOS version, app version, and whether you have Pro
The app never sends names, birthdays, labels, group names, or anything you type.
You can turn analytics off at any time in Settings → Share usage.
Purchases
In-app purchases are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives your purchase history and a random ID so the app can unlock Pro and restore your purchases. The app also lets RevenueCat receive Apple's Search Ads attribution token, which tells me whether an install came from an Apple Search Ads campaign. It does not identify you.
Tracking
The app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, does not use the advertising identifier, and does not sell your data.
Third-party services
- Mostly Good Metrics: Mostly Good Metrics privacy policy
- RevenueCat: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
